I’ve been baking and cooking since I was a young girl, but I didn’t get really into it until I needed to make my own food. This happened around my sophomore year of college; I was really excited to get away from unappetizing college cafeteria food… so excited I made “Sonja’s Personal Cookbook” (I even made one for my boyfriend!).
I use a lot of recipes that I’ve gotten from my family. There was also a time when I searched for healthy recipes on the internet and created countless accounts (eatingwell.com, eatbetteramerica.com, wholefoods.com… the list goes on). Now I like to combine both with my own creativity.
The recipes I post will include nutritional information (from nutritiondata.com) and creative substitutions.
